Singing for Life

Are you 55 or older, love to sing and have a desire to enrich your community life?

Singing for Life is open to enrollment year-round. You do not have to be a member of BMPC to participate in Singing for Life (our members come from several churches, synagogues, and the community at large). Director of Music and Fine Arts, Jeffrey Brillhart, leads this group in rehearsal on Friday mornings from 9:30-10:45 am in the fine arts center. Jeff is assisted by Suzanne DuPlantis and Sharon Babcock. There is a modest $60 fee to participate (scholarships are available... just ask).

Singing for Life numbers about 60 singers. A typical rehearsal begins with stretching, intensive breathing exercises, and vocalizing. The rehearsal continues with the learning of a broad array of sacred and secular repertoire. Choir rehearsals are incredibly fun... the laughter is infectious and the singing is really quite fine! Singing for Life sings occasional concerts and services.
